We are a luxury invitation and brand design studio founded in 2015 by the Fida Ali sisters- Sakina and Rashida. Our super power has been our sense of aesthetic and our niche lies in the ability to seamlessly integrate traditional Indian elements with contemporary layouts and style, for the modern Indian bride. With more than 800 clients spread out over 40 countries, we have carved a niche for ourselves in the last 7 years.
Meet the founders
While Sakina has a degree in architecture, her love for stationery and eye for good design inspired her to found Pretty Gilded.
A physical therapist by profession, Rashida's love for art, and desire to do something offbeat led her to join PG a year later in 2016.
Looking for invites during her wedding, Sakina realised the market didn't cater to her requirements. With a family history in paper manufacturing, it was a match made in heaven!

I used pretty gilded to design my wedding invitations a month ago and my experience was incredible. I found out about this company through Instagram and never met them in person as I was unable to go to India for my wedding shopping. I was a little skeptical to use someone to make my invitations who I had never met in person as I live in NY but I can't express how great they were. We communicated with Sakina over whatsapp and email and my experience was amazing the whole way through. She sent me multiple drafts of the invitation prior to printing. She was extremely professional and available to answer any questions at any time. Most importantly, she worked quickly and shipped my invites out earlier than the planned deadline. We were SO happy with the design and paper quality. We literally got hundreds of compliments on them and couldn't have been happier. It was a pleasure working with her and we would use her again anytime. HIGHLY recommend!!
